Arabic localization done with care, not shortcuts.

I specialize in Arabic game localization — translating English game text into Arabic that feels natural, immersive, and faithful to the original creative direction. My focus is on full localization: UI, gameplay text, dialogue, lore, items, and terminology — not just isolated lines.

I've completed full unofficial Arabic localization mods for survival, horror, and narrative games, covering well over 135,000 strings combined. Each project is translated, reviewed in context, and revised for clarity, tone, and consistency.

I'm open to official Arabic localization work with developers, publishers, and localization studios — whether that's a full title, ongoing live-service text, or QA / linguistic testing.

Original

While toiling away in his home laboratory late one night, Wilson was startled to hear a voice on the radio speaking directly to him. At first he feared he'd gone mad from too many late nights of experiments and accidentally-inhaled chemical fumes, but the voice assured him that it was no mere figment of the imagination. In fact, the voice had a proposition for him: if Wilson would build a machine according to their specifications, then he would be rewarded with secret knowledge, the likes of which no one had ever seen. Casting aside his better judgement (after all, what harm could come from making a vague bargain with a mysterious disembodied voice?) Wilson threw himself into constructing the machine. When at long last it was finally completed, the gentleman scientist had a moment of hesitation... a moment that might have saved him from his impending fate, had he been just a bit stronger of will. But at the voice's insistence, Wilson flipped the switch and activated his creation... and was never seen again.

Well, at least not in this world.

Wendy's tale of woe began with the untimely loss of her dear sister Abigail. Unable to accept the thought of life without her twin, Wendy began turning to the occult in the hopes of finding some way to communicate with the other side. A ragtime tune might seem like a strange message to send from the great beyond, but Wendy was desperate to grab hold of anything that might bring her closer to her sister. And sure enough, a voice would soon tell her exactly what she needed to do...

What I bring to a localization project

My localization approach

A consistent process built around context, terminology, and the actual Arabic player experience.

  1. 01

    Understand tone & context

Before translating, I study the game's tone, setting, and writing style — whether it's dark, humorous, dramatic, mysterious, casual, or technical.

  2. 02

    Build consistent terminology

I maintain a working glossary for items, mechanics, characters, and recurring terms so the localization stays coherent across the entire game.

  3. 03

Translate with the player in mind

UI and gameplay text prioritize clarity and brevity. Narrative and lore text uses polished Modern Standard Arabic that keeps the emotional weight of the original.

  4. 04

    Review in gameplay context

Wherever possible, I check translated text inside the game itself to catch line-break issues, tone mismatches, and context errors that don't show up in a spreadsheet.

  5. 05

    Revise for clarity & consistency

A dedicated revision pass over the full text catches inconsistencies, tightens phrasing, and ensures terminology stays uniform from start to finish.

  6. 06

    Preserve the original direction

The goal isn't to rewrite — it's to deliver the original creative direction in Arabic that feels natural, immersive, and respectful of the source.
